Application - Graduate Certificate
- The Graduate Certificate is open to Master's and Doctoral students enrolled at FIU
- This certificate program is open to degree seeking students only.
- FIU students must register for the Graduate Certificate with the Program Director and Associate Director. Your application must be signed and approved by the Program Director.
Before any appointment with the program director, you must:
- Download the European Studies Graduate Certificate Application-Student File, click here, fill it out, sign it, and date it. The director will check with you the courses you will have to take. You will then give the form back to the European studies program Associate Director.
- Fill out, sign and date the Office of the Registrar Graduate Certificate Program Application (for currently enrolled FIU graduate students only), click here; Then, the Director will approve it and sign it. You will give a copy to the European & Eurasian Studies Program Associate Director.
- Bring your unofficial transcript to the European and Eurasian studies program Associate Director before your appointment with the program director.
In order for you to be registered in the data base, you need to meet with the European studies program associate director and bring back a copy of the three documents (SIPA 513):
- European Studies Graduate Certificate Application (duly filled, signed and dated)
- Office of the Registrar Graduate Certificate Program Application (duly filled, signed and dated)
- and
- Unofficial transcript
Remember that you will have to take the originals of these 3 documents with you when you have your appointment with the program director.

Once the Office of the Registrar Graduate Certificate Program Application Form has been completed, approved and signed by the Director of the certificate program, then, you will submit the application along with a non-refundable $30.00 Application Fee, made payable to "Florida International University", to the One Stop counter located in SASC 126.
