This spring 2017, Dr. Terrence G. Peterson, Assistant Professor, Dpt. of History, will teach a new course.
"War and Society" (HIS 3308 U01) will meet MWF from 11:00-11:50am, and will explore the impact of social norms of the waging of war as well as the impact of armed conflicts upon society from 1914 to the present. The course will focus largely on Europe, but will also broaden to look at global phenomena after 1940. Best of all, students enrolled in the course will participate in a group oral history project on the lived experiences of warfare. Click here
