Conversations on Europe: "Wind, Water, Sun: Clean Energy in Europe"
On Loan from the German Consulate, the exhibition presents the portraits of 24 global pioneering women scientists and engineers. Hon. Annette Klein, German German Consul, will introduce the poster exhibition, and talk on gender disparities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The Department of Global and Sociocultural Studies & the European and Eurasian Studies Program, in Collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy, Cinema Italy, FIU Wolfsonian, FIU Italian Club, The European Student Association, and the Miami-Florida Jean Monnet Center of Excellence, are pleased to present the screening of two masterpieces of Italian Cinema at two different venues. The first one will be "Vittorio de Sica's Umberto D".
