A Conversation About Brexit
With Mitchell Theaker, Director of People's Vote Wales
Since the UK's narrow vote to withdraw from the European Union (EU) in 2016, a number of questions about everything from citizen's rights to the future of trade relations between the UK and the EU have been raised. With the impending deadline of Jan. 31st, 2020, this conversation with Mitchell Theaker will clarify the current state of these negotiations, and highlight some of the domestic and international impacts that Brexit will have.
Mitchell Theaker is Director of People’s Vote Wales, and Special Advisor to the First Minister of Wales on International Relations. He holds a Masters specializing in Brexit from the University of Amsterdam. He studied Brexit’s political framing and how the vote to leave the EU was able to happen.
