Addressing the ongoing refugee and migration crisis in Europe, this panel debates attempts by the European Union and its member states to develop a cohesive and responsible refugee and immigration policy consistent with humanitarian obligations. Scholars from a variety of disciplines analyze how the refugee crisis evolved, what the issues of concern are, and what can and should be done to produce sustainable solutions to the European refugee and migration crisis.
