This event is part of Blanka Rosenstiel Lecture Series on Poland. It is sponsored by the American Institute of Polish Culture, the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Poland, The European Studies Program/SIPA, the Miami-Florida European Union Center of Excellence, and the Chopin Foundation to the US.
The play is a tribute to an extraordinary Polish-French woman, a renowned scientist and two time Nobel Prize winner, who changed the world of science and discovered ‘radium,’ a source for radiation that helps with the treatment of cancer.
