The Miami-Florida European Union Center of Excellence, FIU, the European Studies Program, and the European Student Association, organize a European film series on the topic of European politics.
"La Rafle" (The Round-up), a French film, where the action takes place in Paris, is the chilling story of the 1942 "Vel' d'Hiv" Roundup in France when 13,000 Parisian Jews, were systematically arrested by French police, and corralled into a stadium under the orders of their Nazi occupiers.
