"Nous nous sommes tant hais" (How we hated each other!), a Franco-Austrian film, where the action takes place in France and Germany in 1950, which re-enacts the birth of the European Union, will be screened on Europe Day - May 9th.
"Europa Europa", is a Polish film where the action takes place in Poland in 1938. This drama was based on the true story of a young German Jew who survived the Holocaust by falling in with the Nazis.

"La Rafle" (The Round-up), a French film, where the action takes place in Paris, is the chilling story of the 1942 "Vel' d'Hiv" Roundup in France when 13,000 Parisian Jews, were systematically arrested by French police, and corralled into a stadium under the orders of their Nazi occupiers
"Un Long Dimanche de Fiançailles" (A Very Long Engagement), is a French romantic war film, co-written and directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and starring Audrey Tautou. It is a fictional tale about a young woman's desperate search for her fiancé who might have been killed in the Battle of the Somme, during World War I.
Following the tradition of the 24 and 48 hour film festival, 305 Stage & Screen Festival offers screenwriters, playwrights and directors 305 hours to write, cast, rehearse, produce and submit a10 minute film or play. During orientation prior to the start of production each team will be given a famous quote and a prop, both of which must be incorporated into the action. Ten projects will be selected; 5 films and five plays. All entries will be judged by film and theater professionals.
