The Think Transatlantic Campus Weeks is organized by the German Embassy in Washington DC. A total of 25 colleges and universities across the United States are participating in the Think Transatlantic Campus Weeks, which involve a variety of activities during the Fall 2012 semester.
During the month of November, the Miami-Florida European Union Center of Excellence, which is participating in the Think Transatlantic Campus Weeks, will organize different events:
- November 8 12:00-2:00 p.m. │FIU Graham Center—GC 150 European Film Screening: “Nous nous sommes tant hais” (How we hated each other) which re-enacts the birth of the European Union
- November 9 12:00-2:00 p.m. │FIU Graham Center - GC 150 German Film Screening: "Goodbye Lenin!"
- November 19 1:00-1:30 p.m. │FIU Green Library — GL 220 Recognition Award Ceremony for FIU Undergraduate Contest Essay
- November 28 11:00-12:00 p.m. │FIU SIPA — SIPA 220 Lecture on "Transatlantic Relations between Germany and the USA" by Hon. Countess Eva Kendeffy, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany
