Miami World Music Festival Sept.13-16, 2012

The South Florida Friends of Classical Music and FIU School of Music is organizing a World Music Festival from Sept. 13 to 16 emphasizing chamber music written by the greatest composers of all time, and also a showcases music events using world's traditional folk instruments. The 2012 Festival presents five concerts representing music from Germany, Cuba, Spain, Russia & Argentina.
Program of the European concerts:
- Thursday, Sept. 13 - 8:00 p.m. - Music of Germany
- Opening Ceremony - The Miami Chamber Players
- Saturday, Sept. 15 - 8:00 p.m. - Music of Spain
- The Miami Guitar Trio
- Sunday, Sept. 16 - 4:00 p.m. - Music of Russia
- Pianists Kemal Gekic & margarita Shevchenko
